- Provide one-to-one support to the Year 2 pupil with ADHD, assisting with lessons and activities.
- Help the pupil develop organisational and time management skills, as well as strategies for managing their ADHD.
- Work closely with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to ensure seamless integration of support.
- Monitor and record the pupil's progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the pupil, parents, and teachers.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or ADHD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Strong behaviour management skills
- £12.90 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute break

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in a lovely primary school in Cardiff. The successful candidate will provide individualised support to the pupil, helping them to achieve their full potential and integrate smoothly into the classroom.
