- Delivering all commissioned services nationally and locally, and contributing to the development of new services
- Using professional judgment for clinical decisions within the opticians business
- Adhering to practice standards and Boots Opticians clinical policies
- Working with the store leader to enhance the professional capabilities of the opticians team
- Supervising colleagues' development and supporting student optometrists
- Fostering long-term relationships with colleagues, customers, and healthcare professionals
- Being knowledgeable about Boots Opticians' product portfolio to create loyal patients and customers
- Travelling to different store locations within the region
- Be registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) and the NHS
- Possess a high level of professional expertise and be well-regarded by stakeholders
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer care and maintaining high clinical standards
- Stay updated with learning and development requirements
- Collaborate with the local management team to deliver optometry and ophthalmology services
- Be comfortable using OCT technology and navigating new digital tools
- Be willing to travel to different store locations
