This is an exciting new opportunity in Kettering for a creative online copywriter to work across a range of projects creating SEO friendly content for client websites, blogs, and social media channels.


You will be working in the technical SEO team and taking responsibility for creating well written, engaging content for client websites and content marketing campaigns.


Key Responsibilities of theSEO Copywriter include:

  • Day to day management of clients' accounts and creating SEO strategy.
  • Write copy for a wide range of client projects: Web Page Business Copy, Blog Articles, Social Producing Media Updates and Informational SEO Content.
  • Prioritise work according to campaign schedules.
  • Carry out Keyword Research to guide your content creation.
  • Proofread your own work before handing it over to clients.
  • Be helpful, flexible, and proactive within the team.
  • Creating SEO strategies for clients.
  • Implementing On-Site SEO measures.
  • Analysing and utilising data in written reports.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in SEO and search marketing.
  • Ability to understand company products and speak confidently to clients and prospects alike.

Skills and Experience required for theSEO Specialist:

  • Strong experience in an SEO/Copywriter role.
  • Knowledge of recent history of Google algorithm updates.
  • Knowledge of the core fundamental principles of SEO and its purpose.
  • Up to date knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including social, PPC, content marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A team player willing to help move the department forward.
  • Ability to work on initiative when managing clients' accounts.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Webmaster tools and ability to utilise their data.
  • Experience carrying out Keyword Research for web content or at least a strong understanding of it.
  • Adobe InDesign, basic HTML, and basic MS Excel proficiency.

Other Requirements:


  • Experience writing content for the web.
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of SEO copywriting.
  • Experience working within a team.
  • Ability to write within given tone of voice or house style.****All responses will be managed in accordance with GDPR.
