    Description
    Our well established and long standing client has a position available for an Experience HGV Technician/Fitter.

    The role will involve working Mony to Friday ona 7am start days shift, with all hour over 40 paid at time and a half.

    Duties

    • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs)
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HGVs
    • Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of HGVs
    • Use hand tools and specialized equipment to repair, weld, fabricate, dig, assemble, and maintain HGVs
    • Inspect and test HGVs to ensure they meet safety standards
    • Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on HGVs
    • Operate a forklift to move and transport HGV parts
    ```Requirements```

    • Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems in HGVs
    • Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
    • Proficient in using hand tools for repairs and maintenance
    • Welding and fabrication skills are a required
    • Familiarity with soldering techniques is advantageous
    • Excellent problemsolving and diagnostic skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
    Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as required.
    Hours Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm with 1 hour lunch break.
