Who we are

About the role

We are looking for a Street Works Coordinator to join our outstanding team, enabling the administration of charges and penalties relating to street works to be carried out effectively

The Street Works Coordinator will supervise Virgin Media's Street Works operations undertaken by contract partners, collaborating closely with Local Authorities and Contract Partners to ensure that our operation aligns with the current legislation and codes of practice.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

Able to communicate authoritatively, clearly and optimally across a wide range of audiences, collaborating, negotiation and resolving conflict.
Develop and drive relationship building with colleagues, customers and partners.
Broad understanding of street works legislation, particularly in relation to notice and permit activity, inspections, penalties and charges.
Experience of working in a lively street works administration environment
Selfmotivated and works on own initiative

The other stuff we're looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

Understanding of NRSWA, TMA and associated codes of practice and industry best practice advice.
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets without compromising on quality
Experience in mentoring team members in legislation and supporting when issues arise
