    We are looking for a well-qualified colleague to join our ambitious and highly skilled Science department. You will need to have the knowledge, skills and creativity to be an outstanding teacher, and the ability to teach Science to higher GCSE level.

    The successful candidate will work across Stoke Damerel Community College and Scott Medical & Healthcare College. No additional travel is required as the sites are next door to each other.

    Main duties and responsibilities


    • Working within the Science department to contribute to raising student achievement and the continued development of the department.


    • Teach the Science curriculum at key stage 3 and 4.


    • Ability to teach key stage 5 preferable.


    • Specialise in Physics or Chemistry


    • Contribute to enrichment and intervention support within the Science department.


    • Applications from NQTs and experienced staff will be equally valued.
