Yard Operative / General Operative

Our client, based in Great Dunmow (CM6), is looking for a Yard Operative / General Operative on a potentially temporary to permanent opportunity.


The role:
Responsible for the day to day organization of the plant equipment from offloading and loading equipment using forklifts to do so, delivering parts to sites
Yard Operative / General Operative - Responsibilities

  • Organise all steel stock
  • Section finished products for job specific requirement
  • Loading /unloading deliveries
  • FLT Operation and fork lift logs
  • Manual handling
  • Tidying up the yard
  • Taking deliveries
  • Assisting production and stores teams
  • Keep the working yard free of hazards as per the company's health and safety policy

Experience Required:

  • Essential
- worked in a similar role

  • IT Literate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • FLT Licence
Hours are 07:30 to 16:00 with 30 minute unpaid break
Pay rate up to £11.00 ph depending on experience.
