Assembler
An exciting vacancy has arisen for a skilled Assembler working in a world renowned Aerospace company.

This position will be based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire within the Pyrotechnic department where they manufacture Ejection seats for Aircrafts worldwide.


The Package for an Assembler:


Salary:

£25,000 to £34,000/yr (DOE)

Permanent, Full time position


Hours:

Monday - Thursday 08:00am -16:45pm

Friday 08:00am - 12:00pm

Areas of Responsibility for the Assembler:

  • Accurate assembly of components, to required tolerances and in accordance with laid down procedures.
  • Accurately interpret drawings and production documents
  • Handle explosive materials, goods, components and comply with safety regulations
  • Safe usage of tools and jigs without causing damage

Required Experience / Technical Skills for the Assembler:

  • Basic grounding in H&S practices
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable with using Gun powder and Pyrotechnical materials

Salary:

£25,000.00-£34,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Flexitime

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Chalgrove: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
