Our Leeds City Centre based client is looking for a Compliance Administrator to join their law firm on a full time, permanent basis.
The Compliance Administrator will have a wide range of responsibilities, from PA responsibilities such as arranging travel and accommodation, to providing support to the firms money laundering reporting officer (MLRO) by carrying out necessary checks for all new clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress their administrative skills into a PA focused position, where you can further your knowledge in a regulated environment.
You may have experience within a compliance related role in another industry which is transferrable to a compliance role within law.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Working closely with legal cashiers and fee earners to prepare client invoices
- Administrative responsibilities such as drafting risk assessments and letters, managing and preparing documents.
- Ensuring that client files are all compliant with money laundering requirements
- Carrying out conflict checks and AML checks for all new clients
- Document formatting, management and preparation tasks
- Personal Assistant responsibilities such as diary management, arranging travel and accommodation and booking meeting room
What we are looking for:
- Administrative experience in a compliance based role
- Detail orientated and good attention to detail
- Previous experience in a law firm or professional services is desirable but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
