Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?
You'll be working on Kaluza's Flexibility platform.

Designed to be the nervous system connecting energy retailers, grid operators, and consumers, Flex will aid us in creating the distributed, consumer-centric, dynamic energy system of the future.

Bridging the gap between distributed renewable generation and smart devices, it helps consumers shift their energy consumption to times when there's more renewable energy.

This not only saves them money, but enables society as a whole to meet the challenge of decarbonising transport and residential heating/cooling.

We're also supporting this vital shift by building the innovative technology behind unique, market-leading customer propositions like Vehicle to Grid and Charge Anytime Energy Plan with our energy retailer partners.


What will I be doing?


As a Solutions Lead you will build a close relationship with Kaluza's product marketing and product teams, continuously funnelling feedback to inform short term and long term product roadmaps.

You need to develop a detailed understanding of Kaluza's product suite, as well as alternative solutions available on the market.

You will develop a good understanding of the opportunities the energy transition creates for retailers and will be able to bridge the gap between technology and its commercial impact, illustrating for potential clients the benefits that our unique platform can bring to them.

Alongside your focus on the Flex product you will be comfortable working with the broader Client Solutions team across all products, this may be required at times to help close key sales.

Some example activities include;

  • Supporting sales pitches to new clients and demoing Kaluza Flex products
  • Working with existing and prospective clients to understand their current technology solutions & identifying the goals that Kaluza can help them deliver
  • Architecting & presenting client specific Kaluza based solutions and demonstrating the outcomes these will deliver clients
  • Developing clientspecific proposals
  • Supporting RFI & tender responses
  • Followingup due diligence questions

Desirable Knowledge and skills:

  • Experience of SaaS sales a plus
  • Understanding of the energy industry and the energy transition

What experience you'll need:

  • Experience in software sales, consulting or in a relevant client organisation working in energy
  • Ability to communicate clearly and distill complex concepts into easy to understand points
  • Experience in a role that demonstrates a customer centric focus
  • Know when and how to measure success. You don't just use data, you know when to use what sort of data and the questions you need to help you answer
  • Equally comfortable working with leaders and team members alike
  • Comfortable with the ambiguity that comes from working in a fastpaced environment and adaptable to changing market needs
