PHP Engineer

You will develop complex and advanced solutions as you meet outcomes and drive business growth.

This role is hybrid with occasional commute to the Glasgow office.

You will:

Take part in regular development meetings providing active contribution.
Work to maintain systems and recommend improvements to ensure technological processes are optimized.
Take part in code reviewing within the development team to ensure best practices are maintained.
Be proficient in debugging and troubleshooting and use these skills to improve the efficiency of the code.
Enhance user and customer experience through software development.
Work both autonomously and as part of the team, focusing on solutions and communicating risks.

You are required to have:

BSc Computer Science or equivalent software engineering discipline.
Excellent knowledge of PHP web development and a deep understanding of Javascript, JQuery, JQuery UI and AJAX.
Demonstratable experience of following project specification.
An aptitude for connecting to and building API's.
The ability to develop code to specific standards i.e. PSR1
Experience of SQL and Oracle.
Experience of Linux.
A solid understanding of responsive frameworks i.e. Bootstrap.
Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
23 years of experience in a similar role.

Reward:

Salary is £45,000DOE.
