Oakbrook are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and driven person to work as a night time gritting operative. The work is in and around Sheffield gritting retail parks, train stations and other commercial sites.

Reporting to the Grounds Maintenance Manager you will be required to:

Drive a company vehicle (pickup truck) with rear mounted salt hopper and spreader
Hand grit hard to reach areas
Work between the hours of 18:00 to approx.

03:00

Work during cold weather
Be available any night of the week if the weather dictates
Undertake physically demanding work
Follow site guidelines and procedures
Follow site plans where provided
Work under your own initiative as well as part of a team
To operate plant and machinery in a safe, controlled manner
Be professional in approach to clients/customers in discussion, communications, working with others and appearance
Carry out site activities to the deadlines
Comply with the requirements of the company's Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management system by compiling, handling and communicating the required information
Report any Health & Safety concerns
