Full Time including Out of Hours Rota

We are looking to an Electrician to cover the Greater Manchester area with occasional travel to our schemes in the Cheshire area.

Working to deliver the best quality service, you'll join us to undertake electrical repairs, testing and installation works across your dedicated area, whilst complying with BS7671, ensuring implementation and compliance is in line with our Health and Safety Policy and procedures.

You'll undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work to include additional duties appropriate to the role when required within a social housing setting.

You'll produce concise and accurate data records through PDA / mobile communication systems and reporting, ensuring tasks are completed right, first time, with materials and timescales both achievable and deliverable.

Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation - Buildings & Structures)

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment (buildings, structures and the environment)
• City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory and Practice Part 2
• Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology

Electrical Installations BS th Edition) if not delivered as part of one of the above courses

• ECS Card
• Gold (this can be obtained during probation)

Demonstrated competence in Inspection and Testing and obtained either :

• Level 3 Certificate in the Certification of Electrical Installations (inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations) or
• Both the City & Guilds 2394 Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations and the City & Guilds 2395 Level 3 Award in the Periodic, Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.

Social Housing experience is preferred, however is not essential.

You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).

You must be flexible to work on an out of hours rota.
