    Job Description

You're in SOC because you know better.

Whether it's better than the threat actors trying to undo your hard work, or the people in your organisation trying to undermine your sanity.

What would you do if you could set up your own SOC solution though?

If the answer isn't lie down and cry, then I have an opportunity for you.

I'm working with an established MSP that are building a SOC team. They've got a list of clients that want to start taking security seriously.

There's a mix of mature businesses who know they're not going to be able to look after SOC by themselves and businesses who think cyber essentials will protect them forever. Luckily, you're not going to have to educate them, just protect them.

You'll be involved in building the SIEM solution, defining best practice and helping avoid common speed bumps. You'll also be heavily involved in building and training the team.

    Who you'll need to be:

    • An experienced SOC Engineer with 2 years' experience at a mid – senior level.
    • Full right to work in the UK.

    In return you'll receive

    • A large training budget in order for you to pursue your choice of certifications.
    • Advancement opportunities with a clearly defined development plan (with achievable KPIs)
    • Opportunity to help shape the cybersecurity practice within the business.
