We are seeking a skilled and experienced People Assistant to join our dynamic team. As the People Assistant, you will provide first line transactional support and advice across the employee lifecycle.

What you'll do:

Providing generalist administration support across the People team.
Provide proactive advice and support to managers regarding peoplerelated issues, aligning with policies and procedures to enhance consistency and continuously improve employee engagement and experience.
Regularly review and update all People policies to ensure alignment with current legislation and best practices.
Providing support on different projects throughout the team
Coordinating the new hire process, delivering inductions, and managing the onboarding process within a timely manner.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., payroll and benefits providers) to process payroll changes efficiently.

We would like you to have:

You will have from 1-2 years' experience in a progressive People generalist role, ideally in a start-up environment.
Understanding of employment laws and best practices
Experience in payroll and benefits administration (Desirable)
Proficient in various HR systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Effective at prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
Displays a cando attitude and perseverance in overcoming challenges.
