    Electrical Engineering Manager (co. Antrim)

    What you'll do

    • Work with the NPD Manager and the project management team on project key milestones.
    • Develop the skills and tools required within the Electrical and Software teams to support current and future projects.
    • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure all development projects are adequately resourced.
    • Drive standardisation across the project verticals within the Engineering Organisational structure.
    • Identify and monitor appropriate KPI's. Produce a monthly KPI report for the Head of Engineering.
    • Ensure engineering practices and activities comply fully with company Quality Management Systems (QMS) processes.
    • Optimise the spread of engineering resource amongst the competing requirements including securing grants for financial support.
    • Be responsible for developing high performance teams and individuals to meet business objectives
    • Work with the Electrical, Manufacturing and Homologation teams to ensure consistence of design by maintaining strong lines of communication.
    About you
    • Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • 5 year's experience in Manufacturing environment (ideally vehicle or aviation industry)
    • Minimum 2 years at supervisory level
    • Experience of engineering processes and systems
    • Demonstrable electrical/software/vehicle engineering background
    • Budget preparation and control experience
    • Previous working experience of dedicated electrical design software (harnesses and schematics) e.g Zuken E3
    • Ability to read mechanical drawings
