Stores Person


Due to expansion, my client a leading manufacturing company are looking to recruit a
Stores Person to join their team.


The Role

  • Liaise with planning and production to receive material and part requirements
  • Picking kits for production
  • Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies to procurement team
  • Flag any requests that have not been completed and follow up with relevant personnel
  • Picking orders for customers and ensure orders are shipped out correctly and on time
  • Liaise with transportation companies and arrange goods to be collected
  • Issuing parts and materials out of stock
  • Handling of GRN paperwork and hand over to procurement team
  • Creating new stock locations for parts and materials
  • Attend production meetings and forecast any adjustments that may be need
  • Any other ad hoc duties

Essential Criteria

  • At least 1(+) years' experience in a similar role
  • A good knowledge of engineering parts and materials
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
