Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons, providing support to students on an individual or group basis.
- Resource Management: Prepare and organise educational materials, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere to encourage student participation and engagement in the learning process.
- Behaviour Management: Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies to create a respectful and positive learning environment.
- Individualised Support: Work with students who require additional assistance, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure a collaborative and supportive educational experience.
- Supervision: Assist with the supervision of students during breaks, outings, and other activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and educational policies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
