WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL ADVISOR FOR EUROPE


This isn't your typical 9-to-5 job - with an 80% travel commitment from Monday to Thursday (Friday home based), you'll have the opportunity to explore and understand all European markets and make a real impact.


YOU WILL NEED TO:

Be RCVS registered veterinary surgeon and in UK practice for minimum of 2 years (small animal) and live within an hour from Manchester airport.


But that's not all - we're looking for someone with a genuine desire to help improve the lives and wellbeing of pets and animals.


One of your main missions is to technically train distributor's sales teams, to arm them with
in-depth product knowledge so these sales teams can confidently sell the company's products, to veterinary clinics based on premium, quality ingredients over price.

You will also coach these individuals in field by shadowing them.

The annual salary for this technical advisor role is £45K, along with some awesome benefits including:

Other responsibilities will include;

  • Being the technical advisor across all European markets.
  • Designing and implementing a solid strategy for the international technical department in Europe.
  • Management reporting.
  • Understanding European market trends and requirements.
  • Implementing international technical marketing activities.
  • Organising regional training meetings.
  • Participation in product champion & world distributor meetings along with international veterinary shows & congresses.
We would love to hear from veterinary surgeons who have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and who are not afraid of hard work.
  • The ability to build lasting business relationships with the company's distributors to help retain the company's preferred supplier status.
  • The adaptability to work across many different markets and be sensitive to different cultures this is critical.
  • A flexible attitude and high attention to detail.
  • Strong written ability.
  • The ability to work equally well on their own initiative but also as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiar with MS office.
