We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst with an understanding in Finance and will collect, analyse, and prioritise functional requirements, focusing on meeting the goals and objectives of the business.

The BA will primarily collaborate with designatedbusiness functions, Project Manager and Solution Architects.

For this role, you must be confident with all aspects of general Business Analysis responsibilities but specifically have experience of financial systems and mapping process flows.

Essentials Experience:


  • Wellrounded Business Analyst experience
  • Strong Finance background and/or understanding of financial systems and functions
  • Effective use of business modelling techniques: Process and workflow modelling (ideally within a finance environment)
  • Can clearly demonstrate delivering artefacts for each project phase and link the business value created with the process and system improvement (preferably supported by industry certification)
  • Ability to build relationships and partner with management stakeholders within the business and IT and can communicate effectively in both technical and business settings
  • Experience in eliciting and documenting requirements resulting in quality deliverables, with limited direction
  • Basic understanding of data and information architecture principles
  • Basic understanding of user experience design principles
  • Previous experience of IT delivery of Finance projects

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the collection and prioritisation of project specific business requirements and ensure they are relayed to the architecture team to develop cost estimates
  • Highlight/identify changes to current ways of working
  • Collaborate with business and project team throughout the solution build to ensure alignment with defined business requirements
  • Run workshops, gather business requirements, and define processes
  • Communicate and align with Business Analysts in other towers
  • Facilitate the acceptance of functional requirements
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Adhere to project timelines as defined by the Project Manager
