    Senior Analyst

    3 - 6 months

    UK - Remote

    £400 - £450 per day

    As a Senior Analyst in Marketing Science, you will be responsible for leading and executing test & and control analytics and marketing mix modeling (MMM) to drive strategic insights and recommendations for optimizing marketing efforts. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, statistical modelling, and marketing principles to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable marketing strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and Execute Test & Control Analyses: Develop and implement robust test & and control frameworks to measure the impact of various marketing initiatives. Analyze campaign performance, identify causal impacts, and provide recommendations for optimization.
    • Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM): Lead the development and refinement of MMM to understand the effectiveness and ROI of marketing spend across different channels. Use modelling results to inform budget allocation and marketing strategy.
    • Data Management and Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support modelling and analytics efforts. Ensure data quality and integrity in all analyses.
    • Insight Generation and Reporting: Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Prepare and present reports to senior management detailing analysis results, implications, and strategic recommendations.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and product teams to align MMM and test & control analyses with business objectives. Provide analytical support and guidance to inform decision-making across the organization.
    • Project Management: Manage analytics projects from conception to completion within the allocated time frame. Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards and business requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
    • Experience: Experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on test & control analysis and marketing mix modeling. Prior experience in a consulting or agency setting is a plus.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and database querying languages (e.g., SQL). Strong understanding of statistical modeling, forecasting, and data analysis techniques. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic insights.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience.
    • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
