    Description
    Supply Chain Administrator - St. Albans - £25-30k - Contract


    Due to impressive growth, our client is looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join them as soon as possible.

    This role will support the team during a very busy period, initially for a period of around 5 months. This role could lead to permanent employment for the right person.

    What you can expect in this role:

    • Updating of SAP with confirming orders once factories confirm them, ETA dates, shipment reference numbers, container numbers, delivery dates / times to customers / warehouses
    • Arranging shipment bookings for certain FOB customers, approving them based on costs and transit times, and liaising with factories to confirm the shipments with them.
    • Booking in of containers to warehouses and amending the bookings where shipments are delayed.
    • Chasing factories to ensure that shipping reports are provided on a weekly basis.
    • Collating and filing all shipping documents for all shipments.
    • Setting up of spreadsheets for certain customer FOB range orders
    • Checking all product weights, dimensions, volumes etc. from shipping documents and updating SAP to ensure that information shown is accurate.
    • Sending stock reports to all Account Managers and Sales Administrators on a weekly basis.

    What we are looking for:
    ***Experience in logistics/supply chain administration
    ***SAP or similar system knowledge and experience
    ***Good IT skills
    ***Excellent communication and organisation skills
    ***Someone who is able to learn quickly and 'hit the ground running
