Responsibilities:
- Work with the other material scheduler to ensure that the daily tasks are complete.
- Ordering to ensure 100% OTIF
- Analysing potential shortages
- Scheduling lorries for unloading
- Confirming orders to ensure they are accurate
- Creating PO's
- Running shortages and ensuring min max procedures are followed for purchasing
- Effectively deal with delivery issues as they arise, escalating where necessary
- React to any changes in the production plans which may result in reviewing existing purchase orders with suppliers.
- Run exception reports out of Sage for system parameters on a monthly basis
- Manage the Return to Supplier process so we have no RTS stock here
- Continually look for improvements to current system, bringing them to the team meeting for discussion and agreement.
- Manage invoice queries with suppliers and within the business in a timely manner.
- Any other duties which might reasonably be requested in association with this role in order to meet the needs of the business

- Worked within an office environment
- Proficient with operating computer systems and MS packages
- Flexible, positive, strong communication internally & externally, multitasking & prioritisation skills, good time management & focus, analytical and detail orientated and a team player.
Desirable:
- Worked within a scheduler role in the food industry and wider supply chain experience, specifically in ambient supply chain
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
