Pentagon Freight Services, Aberdeen currently have a vacancy for an experienced Transport Administrator to join our team.

As Transport Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring all material receipt and dispatch duties are completed in accordance with customer requirements or service agreements.

Duties of the role will include, but not limited to:

  • Working closely with the export team ensuring internal and external deadlines and expectations are met
  • Collection/transport of purchase orders according to clients requirements
  • Receipt of purchase orders in our warehouse system
  • Coordinate release and packing of orders as and when called off by client
  • Monitoring data and reports and ensuring that it is entered fully and accurately onto our systems

Applicants should also be able to demonstrate:

  • High level of accuracy in checking and processing information
  • Good organisational skills and an ability to react to suit operational demands prioritising tasks to cope with fluctuating workloads
  • A positive attitude, maintaining a high degree of commitment to improvement and change
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A good team player
  • Experience in a freight forwarding/logistics background and ERP systems
