Swift Temps are currently recruiting a
Trainee Stores Co-Ordinator to join their small team in their well-established company based in
Appleton, Warrington.


The job role is carrying out all stock related duties from receipt, through storage, to despatch of goods in line with Company standards and to meet customer requirements.

The specific duties for Trainee Stores Co-Ordinator include;

  • Receive and record all goods received into Stores
  • Pick, pack and dispatch sales and service orders in line with Company service levels
  • Process orders on carriers' online systems
  • Control the handover of goods to carriers
  • Liaise with colleagues regarding stock manufacture and stock control
  • Repack stock items as required in line with Company stockholding parameters
  • Maintain the Good-In, Goods-Out and Stores areas to ensure a safe and clean working environment
  • Ensure regulations regarding health and safety and ISO are followed at all times
  • Carry out regular inventory checks to maintain high levels of stock accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve stock anomalies and discrepancies
  • Allocate stock to the most appropriate location in line with Company systems
  • Assist with the preparation of instruments and spares/parts for sale, service and demonstration
  • Liaise with suppliers and carriers where necessary
  • Maintain all manual and computerised stock records and associated documentation
  • Adherence to all Company policies and procedures
  • Any other relevant duties as required
The hours of work are
08:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on a Friday.


As a Trainee Stores Co-Ordinator, you will start in the Goods In department Monday-Wednesday and Despatch department on Thursday & Friday.


The pay rate is
£10.42 per hour to start and pay will be reviewed upon completion of successful probation completed.


This role is on a
temporary to permanent opportunity and site are looking for someone to stay with them
long term to train up and progress within the company.


Due
to poor public transport links in the area, you must be able to commute to Appleton via your own means for the start time of 08:30am.

- work as part of a team,
- have good numeracy and literacy skills,
- be computer literate,
- be physically able to lift,
- carry up to 20kg and have good attention to detail.

You must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to use own initiative.

The company wants someone with the
right attitude who is
wanting to learn new skills.

Any previous experience in a store/warehouse or administration would be advantageous.
