We are seeking to appoint a professional and proactive administrator who is able to provide high quality, customer focussed research support (primarily pre-award) to our Research Support team within the Faculty of Engineering.

You will be an integral member of a Faculty research support team, based in a hub cluster working across a group of departments and will report to one of the Research Hub Managers.

This is a key role whereby you will work with a team of colleagues to deliver high quality research administration to academics, researchers and professional services colleagues.

Your core responsibilities will be split into four areas;
- research grant support (including understanding funding calls and drafting costings)
- research governance administration
- updating and maintaining research information systems and,
- providing administration to faculty or department research committees and groups (including being the secretary of committees, organising meetings and events, preparing data reports).
