    Description

    We are recruiting for a successful and leading company in Brentwood who are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their established team.

    You will be working as part of the collection function, to chase outstanding payments owed, whilst providing a vital support to the billings team.


    There is onsite parking , hybrid working and flexible working times.

    This role is a 3 month temp role with the potential of going perm.

    Your main duties in this role will include:
    Being responsible for cash collection of the assigned ledger
    Resolving any disputes from clients and answering queries to agreed turnaround times
    Monitor and manage bad & aged debt and escalate when required to management
    Weekly reporting to highlight high risk accounts
    Account reconciliation
    Monitor and manage credit limits
    Maintenance of ledger inclusive of; unallocated cash, write off proposals and credit balances
    Processing of accounts to external debt collection agency where appropriate

    Key Requirements for the role:
    Must have excellent attention to detail
    Ability to prioritise their workload efficiently and effectively
    Excellent communication skills and ability to develop effective relationships both internally and externally
    Previous Credit control experience is a must- 3+years minimum
    Comfortable with Microsoft Excel is a must
    Ability to work well within a team and individually
    Previous use of accountancy packages/ systems
