We're currently recruiting for a full-time Support Assistant to join our team in Chester.

We have a number of learning disability services across Chester offering adults with low to moderate needs the support and encouragement to live their lives as independently as possible.


We value our team and encourage learning and progression through our comprehensive induction programme, as well as ongoing training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression.

We have our own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all.

The role of Support Assistant will include:

  • Providing a high quality, personalised support service
  • Supporting customers to build the confidence they need to gain further independence
  • Encouraging customers to develop their daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and being part of their community
  • Maintaining a safe environment for customers, providing support in accordance with relevant regulations, procedures, and practices
  • Working with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve the best outcome for our customers

Skills and experiences:


  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, listening and time management skills
  • You will be empathetic and nonjudgmental
  • A positive 'cando' attitude and a willingness to persevere through challenging situations
  • Occasional travel may be a requirement of the role; therefore, a full valid driving licence is preferable
