    Description

    The role requires the jobholder to conduct detailed and sometimes complex research projects in support of investigations and provide reports and briefings on information relevant to new or existing projects.

    Role Requirements

    • Time Commitment: Full time with additional hours as required.
    • Meetings: Attends regular meetings with other members of the Company to provide briefings.
    • Knowledge: Knowledgeable in all aspects of Investigative Research and Business Intelligence. A background in Financial analysis would be beneficial.
    • Network Analysis: Must have a high level of i2 IBM charting software expertise.
    • OSINT: Knowledge of open source research and ways to gather and extract intelligence for analysis.
    • Confidentiality: The work of the Company is confidential by nature. Disclosure of information relating to the Company and its Clients, other than as authorised by the Company or required by law, is strictly forbidden.
    • Non-Disclosure Agreements: Observes NDAs as applicable.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Conducts due diligence, employment screening, asset-tracing and other investigative enquiries involving companies and individuals.
    • Conducts network analysis to support investigations using i2 IBM software and when required presenting findings to clients.
    • Utilises core and key resources to support research activities.
    • Collates research findings and prepares reports on personal vetting, security checks and due diligence.
    • Collates material and content for enhanced due diligence and investigative projects.
    • Identifies new sources of data and information for the Company to utilise.
    • Monitors media alerts and collates relevant articles into a daily, internal current affairs bulletin.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
