- Production of initial engineering design.
- Checking of technical drawings using appropriate software.
- Responsible for marking up drawings from other parties.
- Responsible for producing and checking calculations.
- Preparation of schedules, material takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Liaison, correspondence, negotiation with external bodies over information and technical queries e.g. clients, contractors.
- To undertake regular reviews of all work assigned and to report and review the practices and procedures used.
- Design Coordination
- Positively represent CCL GB at project site visits and meetings
- Monitor accuracy of work against the specification, highlighting potential problems and providing solutions
- Understanding and awareness of designing in accordance with current British Standards, Codes of Practice and Industry Good Practice.
