    A leading multi-disciplinary planning, design, environment, engineering and safety consultancy with mulitple offices across The UK are seeking experienced energy engineers at senior and principal levels to join their expanding team, dedicated to delivering a wide array of energy efficiency and low carbon projects for various public and private sector clients.

They're prepared to provide training for certifications such as ESOS Lead Assessor, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), or other relevant qualifications of interest.

    You have the flexibility to work from any of their office locations or remotely from home, depending on your preference.

    Qualifications: The ideal candidate will hold an Honours Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering. Other engineering disciplines like Chemical, Process, Civil, and Environmental will also be considered. A valid U.K. driving license with a clean record is required.

    Experience: Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Energy efficiency and low carbon auditing for industrial, commercial, and public sector buildings/sites
    • Developing net zero carbon strategies for various organizations
    • Feasibility studies and design for renewable energy projects
    • Mechanical/building services engineering
    • Working across diverse sectors such as food and beverage, chemical/pharmaceutical, energy, leisure, retail, public sector, etc.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on client and project management
    • Proficient in report writing, conveying complex information in concise technical reports/deliverables
    • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to identify potential improvements/solutions
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach

    Role & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be part of their Engineering Group, contributing to energy engineering consultancy projects across various sectors and clients. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality technical project work within deadlines and budgets. Depending on experience and interest, you may also mentor colleagues, participate in business development, and manage projects.

    Travel is involved, and company pool cars are available. A valid driving license is required for occasional air travel, for which a valid passport is necessary. Some site visits may require overnight stays, mainly within the UK, although occasional international travel may be required.
