    CMA is currently working with a Fareham based business who are looking to appoint a part time Accounts Administrator for 24 hours per week over four days. This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate who has some finance experience but looking to establish themselves within an experienced finance team. The role will support with the sales and purchase ledger functions. What will the part time Accounts Administrator role involve?

    • Ensure the cashbooks are updated daily;
    • Request copy invoices and reconcile supplier statements;
    • Assist the Assistant Accountant with reimbursing expenses;
    • Assist the Senior Credit Controller with the provision of invoice copies;
    • General maintenance of purchase and sales ledger;
    • Cashbook reconciliations;
    • General accounts administration.

    Suitable Candidate for the part time Accounts Administrator vacancy:

    • Some finance experience would be preferable – ideally accounts payable and cash book accounting;
    • Strong attention to detail;
    • Confident verbal and written communication skills;
    • Good team working skills and a positive, pro-active attitude;
    • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload with established timescales.
