Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Technical Lead to join our Application Services team due to the growth and strategic focus on Cloud Services. The ideal candidate will offer technical leadership, guidance, and expertise in developing, deploying, standardizing, and managing Cloud-based technologies and services. Collaborating closely with various teams, including Group Technology, Architecture, Portfolio, and Product Management, the Cloud Capability Lead will ensure alignment with current and future demands in terms of skills and capacity. Additionally, this role involves shaping a high-performing technical team focused on delivering exceptional service through both Service and Project Delivery utilizing Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

What you'll be doing

Providing strong technical leadership to enhance Group Functions Cloud capability and delivery, ensuring adherence to quality standards, security, governance, and more.
Developing and leading a high-performing team, fostering individual growth and acting as a mentor.
Ensuring technical excellence by staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Leading the delivery of Low-Level Designs for Cloud services.
Developing a Cloud Delivery Roadmap and overseeing its implementation.
Contributing to IT delivery sourcing strategy and managing third-party partners for effective Cloud Service delivery.
Setting clear vision and goals for the Cloud Capability, tracking key business performance metrics.
Planning and allocating resources effectively, ensuring the team has necessary skills and capacity.
Developing and maintaining a Service Catalogue for Cloud Services with aligned service standards.
Driving proactive continuous improvements in the Cloud Capability service.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Cloud Architectures and Solutions in Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Proficiency in CI/CD, version control, planning, and collaboration.
Understanding of monitoring and management services for tracking performance and health of resources.
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management principles in Azure and AWS.
Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and data migration to Cloud.
Experience in managing Cloud Service capability and continuous improvement.
Practical understanding of on-premises and cloud computing environments.
Azure/AWS Technical Certification is desirable.
Proven experience in technical leadership in Cloud platforms, preferably in Financial Services.
Extensive experience in software delivery lifecycle and various delivery methodologies.
Experience in people development within a technical environment.
Ability to influence at senior levels and collaborate effectively.
Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and KeyedIn.
