An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic clinician to provide strategic and clinical leadership the Long Covid project and team.

This fixed term (12 month) post is offered on a sessional basis for children & young people's pathways. This role is offered to medical staff or senior nursing/AHP/psychology clinicians (Band 8a and above). Salary will be commensurate with your current salary or at a minimum of band 8a.


The Scottish Government require all Boards to develop pathways of care for Long Covid and a significant amount of ground work has already been done.

We are now looking for senior clinicians to lead a small team to develop these pathways, and to establish and lead the clinical team.

Applications are invited from clinical colleagues from all backgrounds with the vision, drive and enthusiasm to support the development and implementation of pathways, education and self-management resources which improve both patient and professional experience of clinical care in Grampian.


This role presents a unique opportunity to work across sectors and services to shape and influence how clinical professionals work together to develop patient centred care that reflects local and national clinical strategy.

Applicants should have professional interest or experience in Long Covid.

For Senior Clinicians;
HCPC, NMC or other relevant professional body registration is required.
