    Location: London
    Duration - Initial 6-month contract

    Our leading client is currently seeking an experienced security architect to join their existing cybersecurity team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of application security assessments to support upcoming industry-specific legislative requirements. Your primary responsibilities will involve assessing, advising, and assisting in mitigating cybersecurity risks, making you a crucial part of this initiative.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Formulate, develop, and maintain the organization's cybersecurity strategy.
    • Establish and maintain a suitable information assurance framework to facilitate the strategy's implementation.
    • Provide leadership and insights into emerging security threats.
    • Foster a robust cybersecurity culture and awareness among project stakeholders.
    • Take the lead in investigating cybersecurity risks to prevent potential breaches.
    • Engage in discussions with external parties such as partners, suppliers, and customers regarding cybersecurity assessments.
    • Regularly report security progress and issues to senior stakeholders.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    The Ideal candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

    • Hold professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, or similar credentials.
    • Demonstrate a proven track record in leading security initiatives within a global, fast-paced organization.
    • Exhibit a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
    • Previous experience working in environments adhering to ISO27001 or Cyber Essentials Plus standards would be advantageous.
    • Possess a solid knowledge of security tools and technologies, including SIEM, vulnerability management, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), etc.
    • Have a comprehensive understanding of public Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
    • Display a sound grasp of the current threat landscape.
    • Possess excellent communication skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
    • Understand business and organisational risk factors and the ability to analyze interrelated situations.
    • The Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
