We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Assistant.
Reporting into the Management Accountant, the Accounts Assistant will play a key role in supporting the finance function and business.
This is an exciting and fast-paced role for an experienced individual ready for their next challenge.What will I be delivering?
The main duties for the role include, but are not limited to:
- Financial data management: maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable and receivable.
- Invoice processing: working with departments across the business to ensure timely payment and management of invoices.
- Managing bank reconciliations, along with general banking responsibilities.
- Credit control
- Cash flow forecasting
- Supporting the Management Accountant with financial reports and analysis.

What do I need to bring with me?
Demonstrated knowledge and experience
- Proven experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role.
- Experience in dealing and managing large quantities of invoices.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practice.
Technical skills and qualifications
- High level of numeracy
- AAT or similar accounting qualification (desirable).
Behavioural competencies
- Organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members at all levels.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
