Maths Teacher - SEMH School

Are you a Qualified Mathematics Teacher looking for a new and exciting challenge? This specialist school are looking for a dynamic and engaging Mathematics Teacher to join the teamon a permanent basis.

This fantastic SEMH school has a track record of achievinggreat results within the sector, and helping students to reengage with education.

Many students are able to transition back into mainstream education after spending time at this school.
As a Maths teacher you will be joining a small, but experienced department of specialist Maths Teachers. Planning and marking is reduced and you will receive excellent support from the HOD. Experience working within the SEMH sector is not essential, howeveryou will have to be a confident classroom manager.

This is a great opportunity for a Mathematics Teacher who is looking to make a transition into the SEMH or SEND sector.


Job role:

  • Teaching Key Stage 3 & 4 Maths up to GCSE
  • Managing small classes of students with SEMH needs
  • Reduced planning and marking requirements due to smaller student numbers
  • Opportunities for progression and development
  • Involvement in whole school activities, trips and wellbeing days
  • Reduced hours on a Friday
