    Description
    Are you a skilled Payroll Administrator with a passion for wider finance tasks? Are you looking for a role where you can showcase your expertise in payroll administration while also diving into bookkeeping tasks? Are you hardworking, organised and detail orientated?

    We are delighted to be supporting a multifaceted, growing business based in Halesowen.

    With expert knowledge and a strong client focus this business is able to support with a range of services across the UK.

    They are now looking for a confident Payroll Administrator to support the team with processing end to end payroll and also taking on wider finance tasks.

    You will be joining a supportive and streamlined finance team and be reporting directly into the department head.

    This role comes with an annual salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience.


    Responsibilities include:
    Supporting with preparation of accurate weekly and monthly payrolls.
    Handling all aspects of payroll deductions, including PAYE, National Insurance, student loans, and statutory payments.
    Managing pension schemes, auto-enrolment, incentive schemes, bonuses etc.
    Liaising with HMRC to resolve PAYE/NIC queries and ensure compliance with legislative responsibilities.
    Submitting specified annual reports.
    Performing bank, sales, purchase, and nominal ledger postings, along with bank reconciliations.
    Preparing VAT returns, reconciliations, and reporting.
    Assisting with month-end and year-end adjustments, including prepayments, accruals, and deferred income

    Candidate Skills and Attributes:
    Minimum of three years previous experience processing Payroll is essential. Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks is desirable.
    Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
    Confident communication skills, especially over the phone.
    Proficiency in payroll software and a good knowledge of accounting software, such as Sage or similar.
    AAT Level 4 qualification or relevant bookkeeping experience is desirable but not essential
