Industrial Installation Electrician

Location: Dalry

Salary: 40,872 plus overtime

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Carbon60 is seeking skilled Industrial Installation Electricians for a position on a large industrial projects for a leading engineering company.

Job Description:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues with electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to install and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Install electrical control systems for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as engineers, mechanical, and technicians, to complete projects.
• Provide training and guidance to apprentices and other junior electricians.
• Keep accurate records of electrical work performed and electrical equipment and supplies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven track record working within the Process, Plant, and Power Generation Industries.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• JIB Registered Trade Card with Approved Electrician Grading or higher.
• City And Guilds th Edition Qualification.
• City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Electrical Testing and Inspection.
• CompEX EX01-EX04. (Desirable)
