As a member of a multi-disciplinary team you will be encouraged to progress your career in the physical rehabilitation field and take on supervision and training responsibilities.
This post offers you the chance to work in a variety of settings in a lively multi-cultural borough:
You will be part of well coordinated, specialist multi-professional teams which are at the forefront of the rehabilitation agenda in Hackney. We work closely with nursing and therapy colleagues in multi-disciplinary teams participating in goal setting, rehabilitation, and discharge planning.
We will give you the opportunity and support to broaden your occupational therapy skills and knowledge base, whilst developing your supervision and leadership skills working alongside specialist senior staff.
You will participate in student placement education, teaching programmes for Band 5 occupational therapists and assistant staff, as well as contribute to service development activities, audit and quality improvement work. You will receive regular supervision and support from senior OT clinicians About us Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a high performing and flourishing organisation serving the population of Hackney, East London, The City and beyond.
