    Purpose of Role

    ISPs International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS) is a centrally curated programme that provides our students with a wide range of innovative, best-in-class intercultural learning opportunities. By facilitating meaningful opportunities for students across the world to connect and learn with each other, our ILOS are critical in developing a range of life competencies that are central to being and becoming positive, active global citizens.

    Learner (ISP definition)

    The ISP learner recognises that their mindset, experiences, and actions drive their learning outcomes. With this awareness, they exercise voice, choice, and ownership over their process of learning - leading their learning and the learning of others.

    The ILOS Project Manager will be responsible for managing and further developing the International Opportunities for Students, and the timelines for launch windows of these ILOS programmes.

    At the International Schools Partnership (ISP) we want to provide collaborative learning opportunities across our schools. The objective of these initiatives is to give students opportunities to collaborate through life-changing international, beyond the classroom learning experiences across our schools regions - Europe, Iberia, USA & Canada, Mexico & Central America, South America, Middle East, Malaysia, Vietnam & Thailand.

    We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to be available to spend at least 2 months of the year in Spain.

    International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS)

    At the International Schools Partnership (ISP), we believe that as part of our students learning journey it is important that they have the chance to experience learning beyond the classroom and connect with other ISP students across the world. As a global group of schools our students benefit from being part of a wider international community, which provides many additional learning and cultural opportunities.

    The ILOS provide amazing learning experiences that enable our students to grow their knowledge, skills, and understanding of:

    • Language and communication skills
    • Different cultures and traditions with other ISP students from other countries, and build friendships
    • Transferable skills including critical thinking, confidence, teamwork and leadership
    • Their capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses
    • What it means to be a responsible global citizen

    Currently ISP offers 9 main global study opportunities to their students. The objective is to increase our international opportunities for students in the next two years with programmes focused on S.T.E.A.M., Service Learning & Social Impact. Currently the opportunities consist of:

    • A month-long International Exchange Program
    • A Virtual Exchange Program
    • A Model United Nations that brings students together to simulate a UN conference
    • Chess competitions
    • Film making
    • Grants for environmental projects, including a tree-planting partnership to offset our carbon footprint
    • A Science initiative with a focus on research methods and analysis
    • A fundraising initiative to raise awareness and improve the lives of street-connected young people across the globe
    • Arts programme for all students regardless of age

    ISP ILOS Project Manager Key Responsibilities

    • Be the main point of contact for the selected plug and play programmes (like ISP Chess Tournament, Virtual Model United Nations, Virtual Exchange Programmes, among others)
    • Administrate and respond to queries and enquiries from regions and schools on their programmes
    • Design and create new and innovative programmes
    • Ensure that the programmes are expertly planned, from communication, promotion, implementation, evaluation, and redesign of future iterations.
    • Closely work with the schools to ensure that the programmes are communicated and implemented across all regions and schools
    • Build a community of champions to help support and run these programmes within regions and schools
    • Work with the ILOS Central team and the Safety and Safeguarding team to ensure that the ISPs Health and Safety and Child Protection policies are implemented
    • Gather, analyse, and use evidence and feedback from participants to continuously refine and improve programmes
    • Ensure feedback opportunities for each programme from students, parents and staff.
    • Report on programmes progress using recorded data from different evaluation sources.
    • Work closely with our partner organisations to ensure a mutually beneficial working relationship with clear lines of communication and well-organised initiatives.

    Project Management: Ensure a high level of support, communication and stakeholder rapport

    • Use the teams project management tools to help the successful monitoring and follow-up on programmes
    • Update and maintain all the support materials (Handbook, Toolkit, Forms, etc.) for effective implementation of the new programmes
    • Work with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure there is a first-class suite of marketing materials for schools to use to promote the programmes to students, parents and staff.
    • Liaise with the Marketing and Communications team to create content to celebrate the success and promote the benefits of the programmes
    • Ensure staff, student and parent communications are well-thought out, support the ISP brand and provide the necessary levels of information to all stakeholders
    • Balance general communication and administrative duties including answering phone calls and emails, dealing with all internal enquiries and requests, organising and running video conference calls and presenting to groups of different people including central, regional and school teams
    • Work with and organise external suppliers as needed.

    Manage Strategic Team Initiatives

    • Support with the development of strategic projects through our training platform, Learning Hub. This includes co-designing the enrolment of schools, and coordinators to the ILOS programmes.
    • Collect and streamline school calendars with the support of our regional teams to understand activity placement and main school activities (e.g. exam periods, summer and winter breaks, etc)
    • Upkeep the ILOS database for the team including updating information of coordinators and enrolments

    Skills, Qualifications and Experience

    • Degree in Education (primary and/or secondary) - In lieu of degree, adequate years of experience in related field
    • Project management (desirable) and administration
    • Knowledge of Educational Program Design
    • Experience coordinating, designing, and implementing student travel opportunities (desirable)
