We are recruiting for an experienced
Landscaping Team Leader in
Basildon. This is a
permanent
job
paying between £28,718 and £30,420 per year plus overtime, 29 days paid holiday, pension scheme and employee benefits package.


As the Team Leader within the Customer Care Landscape Team, you will be:

  • Working on new build housing sites rectifying issues caused by weather, the previous contractor or damage due to traffic etc.,
  • Taking up and relaying turf, levelling ground, cultivating, rotavating, planting trees and shrubs etc., as well as assisting the landscape maintenance team by pruning, hedge cutting, strimming and mowing.

To be considered as the Landscape Team Leader you will need:

  • Experience of landscaping and of rectifying issues.
  • Good customer service skills and understanding of the home owners frustrations and concerns.
  • A driving licence.
  • To be reliable and hard working with an eye for detail.
  • To be used to and enjoy landscaping and liaising with home owners.

The following are desirable but not essential:

  • A CSCS card.
  • Horticulture related qualifications.

Key Detail

  • The Customer Care Landscape Team working day starts at 7am at the yard which is just outside Basildon and finishes at 4.30pm.
  • Working days are Monday to Friday.
  • A van is available for your working day, but you must be able to get yourself to the yard each day.
  • There is the opportunity for overtime and that is offered as it is available.
  • This is a permanent job opportunity where you are directly employed by the landscaping company which ensures career progression opportunities.
