    About the role:
    Reporting to the Queensland General Manager, the Sales Manager's primary function will be to lead the Queensland Sales team in line with Fleetwood's strategic sales plan. This will include establishing, developing, and nurturing new sales opportunities & further growing existing relationships. You will be accountable for delivering on the annual revenue and profit targets with the goal of increasing and diversifying overall market share across a range of sectors within the construction industry.
    Your role will form part of the senior leadership team within Queensland and play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy and fostering a culture of inclusivity, whilst ensuring alignment with company objectives.
    The Fleetwood Building Solutions office facility is based in Crestmead.

    The key responsibilities of the role are to:
    • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key target markets
    • Lead, coach, and mentor a diverse sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
    • Collaborate cross functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales efforts with company objectives
    • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the sales team, fostering an environment of belonging and equal opportunity.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales process, leveraging feedback and data to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry associations, to promote Fleetwood's brand and offerings.
    • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and sales targets
    • Develop, manage, and maintain sales team KPIs
    • Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service
    • Project and forecast revenue targets for assigned sales regions, reporting as required
    • Responsible for sales team expenditure
    • Ensure targets are delivered through people management and performance review
    • Ensure effective Relationship Management: internal and external
    • Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends
    • Oversee the development and submission of quality tenders/bids
    • Manage sales data, reporting results as necessary
    About You:
    The ideal candidate will be passionate, dynamic and strategically minded, with the drive to meet and exceed targets. You will be a natural leader with the ability to motivate and mentor your team.
    We are looking for someone with the ability to think outside of the box, helping to diversify our revenue streams across a range different sectors and projects. Ideally you will have experience within the modular or commercial construction sector and have managed a small to medium sized team with proven results. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
    • 3-5 years demonstrated sales and marketing experience
    • Proven experience leading diverse teams and promoting inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Preferred but not essential)
    • Experience in the construction sector highly advantageous
    • Proven track record of success within sales leadership roles, preferably in the modular construction or related industry.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate a small team
    • Ability to develop an effective sales & marketing strategy
    • Sound statistical, analytical and process driven administrative skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A high degree of proactivity, creativity, and latitude
    • Excellent understanding of sales planning and analysis of the competitive market
    • Sound time management skills
    • Ability to travel as required
