A Lloyd's Market Insurer are looking to hire a QA Tester to join their team and work on a range of projects to enhance both existing and new systems & processes.

Key Responsibilities

Work with development team lead to create testing strategies.
Design, monitor and maintain QA reports, KPIs & quality trends for existing (bespoke) centralised loss exposure management system.
Define, build, automate, execute testing for code in an agile practice and according to the sprint planning.
Design and build test automation framework for data pipelines.
Execute and automate test cases and perform bug tracking.
Help create and implement quality processes and requirements.
Work with business and technical staff to resolve problems and respond to suggestions for improvements or enhancements.
Ensure products have been produced according to company procedures and standards.
Active participant in Exposure Management Strategy meetings and the exposure management working group.
Maintain close, good working relationships with colleagues and customers of the department.

Skills and Experience
Essential

5+ years of experience in QA and testing (data, regression, automation, defect).
Strong SQL skills (SQL Server) to carry out data validations.
Working knowledge of a testing framework.
Basic understanding of automated API/web services testing.
Knowledge of Python and webbased development testing (including JavaScript frameworks).
Development of automated testing solutions.
Working experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Prior experience of working in (Re)Insurance.
Experience in Agile delivery techniques, processes, practices, and tooling.
Handson experience of testing in system, integration testing phases
Prior experience in testing Cloud based data solutions, preferably Azure
Experience in design, development & maintenance of manual and automation test scripts

Desirable

Experience in Exposure Management, including working knowledge of all major modelled catastrophe risk classes, both at an account and portfolio level.
Knowledge of 3rd party natural catastrophe API's a plus, especially AIR Touchstone / Touchstone Re and Analyze Re.
Exposure to Tornado webserver, IIS, Azure DevOps and/or Bamboo, Source control (GIT / Azure DevOps).
Strong working knowledge of third party Catastrophe Models, especially AIR/RMS, and underlying concepts involved in Catastrophe Modelling.
Experience of Change Management in a mature organisation.
