Location:
Fully remote

Day rate:
£490 per day (OUTSIDE IR35)

Acorn Technology is working with an international energy organisation which is expanding their portfolio of businesses and products within the Renewable, Sustainable, Green Energy space globally.

Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineerto join their renewable energy project team, taking responsibility for ensuring the security of the cloud-based infrastructure.


Key deliverables:

  • Implement security controls for data access, storage and processing
  • Design and implement cloud security infrastructure that meet the requirements
  • Ensure data privacy and security standards are met
  • Work with stakeholders to identify potential security threats
  • Respond and resolve security incidents and threats in a timely manner
  • Manage security protocols, firewalls and intrusion detection
  • Conduct regular security assessments and mitigate vulnerabilities

Key experience:

  • Experience in network security
  • Firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and VPNS
  • Understanding of data privacy and GDPR/HIPAA
  • Azure and cloud security protocols
  • Encryptions, DDoS mitigation, and intrusion detection systems
  • Cloud automation scripting
  • Designed cloudbased security solutions
