  • Full time at 40 hrs p.w.(or job share considered)
  • £31,410 per year, depending on experience

  • Here is an exciting opportunity to join our Wellbeing & Activities Services Team. You will be joining a well-established, innovative and dynamic team. Your role will be to directly support our Associate Director of Wellbeing and Activities to maintain and develop the highest levels of wellbeing and meaningful occupation for residents. We believe all our residents can live well with the right support – you will help oversee and develop this support.

    Included in your responsibilities:

  • Supporting, developing and guiding our Wellbeing Leads
  • Delivering wellbeing and activity related training packages
  • Coaching and mentoring staff, including working alongside
  • Providing staff welfare support when needed
  • Supporting the provision of high quality, meaningful activity for all residents
  • Overseeing dignity for all, in part through our ongoing dignity campaign
  • Developing a whole-team approach to excellent interaction and engagement
  • Providing activity and engagement advice and support to staff and families
  • Developing mealtimes as highlight of the day
  • Sharing and leading on wellbeing initiatives and projects
  • So that you have the confidence and skills to deliver high quality support and direction to your homes, you will receive individual support, guidance and investment in your development. We are known as a professional, open and friendly team.

    You must have thorough practical knowledge and experience of planning/delivering activity to individuals and groups. You will have the ability to inspire, motivate and lead others. You will have developed adequate IT, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also need be confident, determined, and flexible. You will be working independently for most visits to homes.

    The 23 Care Homes you will be supporting are in the following areas:

  • South Yorkshire
  • Nottinghamshire
  • Warwickshire
  • Birmingham
  • Worcester
  • As this position will mean supporting various homes you must be able to travel across the country.
