Divisional Finance Manager RequiredWe are delighted to be partnering with a leading Nottinghamshire based Healthcare organisation, as they look to recruit a new Divisional Finance Manager to join their best in class Finance department.

Based to the north of Nottingham, this role would provide you the opportunity to join a thriving organisation, presenting you with an excellent challenge and the chance to continue your career within the Healthcare sector.

This role comes in at an NHS Band 8a, and is able to offer a flexible working model, with the successful candidate required to commute to the offices 1-3 days per week on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:
Support on all aspects of the financial planning and management of the Divisionprovide accurate, timely and regular financial management information, as part of the monthly reporting cycle, linking activity and financial informationWith the Clinical Director, Divisional General Manager and other senior managers within the Division, produce a monthly re-forecast based upon current / planned activity and financial performance including the impact of identified actions / mitigationsUtilising specialist knowledge and expertise to provide monthly performance reports to inform the Divisional Performance and Delivery Meetings and Divisional BoardsProvide other financial information as required to the Corporate Finance function within agreed timescales and deadlinesLead on all financial aspects of the transformation workstream including business cases and contribute to the preparation and completion of cases for service developments and transformational schemes, including identification of capital requirements and funding sourcesRequirements:Knowledge of current issues in the NHS and the changing nature of healthcare provisionSignificant experience in a senior NHS Finance role or in another sector where the knowledge is transferrableKnowledge of the techniques that drive productivity and efficiency such as benchmarking and process mappingExcellent knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, systems and software packagesFully qualified AccountantExcellent verbal & written communication skillsShort notice availabilityIf you could be interested in finding out more and progressing with your application, please do get in touch -
