We are recruiting
Assembly Operatives to join our team based in West Yorkshire.
These are full time, onsite, permanent positions, paying the equivalent of £11.50 p/hr. Our factory is located in
Whitley, Goole, DN14 0HR.


What will you be doing in this role?


Building the full range of our life saving and life changing products, within agreed timescales, and ensuring the highest level of quality standards throughout the production process.


Full training for these roles is provided, however, you will be friendly and approachable, with an organised and methodical approach to work, and a high attention to detail, able to read and interpret assembly method/engineering drawings.

Being an effective communicator and team player is vital to the success of this role.

Key skills and experience:


  • Excellent manual dexterity,
  • Able to read, learn and interpret assembly methods and drawings,
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to work within and develop systems of working,
  • Ability to work well in a team,
  • Comfortable at working to tight timescales,
  • Attention to detail,
  • IT literate,
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations,
  • Experience of working to set targets,
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal,
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg,
  • Any previous manufacturing assembly experience would be ideal, but is not essential as full training is provided.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


  • To assemble the constituent parts of the products from the printed circuit board (PCB) sub assembly level through to finished units, following Company engineering methods and drawings,
  • To understand and build to schedules, using appropriate test equipment, where required,
  • To highlight any specification or design error through the Team Leader or Departmental Manager or directly with the Production Engineering team,
  • To raise with the Team Leader any nonconformance i.e. Defective and Redundant Material, in compliance with the Company Quality System requirements and Departmental guidelines,
  • To establish effective working relations with all departments, to ensure maximum cooperation for the timely resolution of assembly related issues,
  • To provide assistance and support to other Assembly staff when requested, to complete specific activities,
  • To understand and follow all Manufacturing administrative procedures and maintain records via the systems provided.
