£10 per hour, plus £45 weekly attendance allowance

Full-time, permanent after 12 weeks

Shift patterns:
Continentals, 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts (with attendance allowance)

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting Machine Operators to work within their client's established, family-run business, which specialises in manufacturing plastic products.


The role will involve/ require:

  • Inspection and packaging of various plastic goods
  • A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and faultmonitoring
  • If required, machines could be operated on a semiautomatic basis
  • Manual handling to include, stacking pallets, wrapping and moving pallets on pallet trolleys
  • General cleaning around workstation
  • Some products may require the use of a cleaning solvent to clean mouldings
  • Responsible to fulfil and comply with the company health and safety policies
  • Responsible for running more than one machine (when trained)

Essential:

  • Previous experience working in factory environment or a similar role
  • Own transport due to location
  • To provide own safety boots (hivis will be provided)
  • Personal progression within the company is available at all times
