Senior Production Planning & Control Professional


Location:
Barrow-In-Furness - On site


Salary:
£38,734+


What you'll be doing:

  • Provide specialist advice, product or process knowledge, and output requirements in regard to manufacturing production levels
  • Utilising innovation and creativity to solve problems and implement continuous improvement to the build strategy
  • Liaise with Production Planning & Control (PP&C) stakeholders across programmes, Manufacturing Engineering, operations, project and supply teams
  • Ensuring high industry standards are applied across all programmes and working with varied stakeholders

Your skills and experiences:

  • Good knowledge of Planning & Project Controls processes
  • Manufacture or Production build knowledge
  • Excellent Knowledge of SAP planning systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • Understand the Systems of Work within BAE
  • Drive to develop and progress your technical and leadership skills
  • APICS /APM qualified or relevant experience desirable

The Production Planning team:


As a part of the PP&C functional team you will be supporting our programmes with the creation, updating, training, and embedding of our functional processes, systems and toolsets.

You will be key in ensuring that our facilities can deliver our programs in support of key defence contracts.
